ABOUT ME
Hello! My name is Gilberto, and I'm an illustrator and graphic designer based in Brazil. I have been working as a professional illustrator for over a decade and have accumulated extensive experience as a designer.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with various publishers in Brazil and abroad, including Upper Deck, Companhia das Letras, and FTD, among others. My illustrations have graced book covers, educational materials, advertisements, and collectible cards featuring Marvel heroes. More recently, I have had the pleasure of immersing myself in the world of board games, where I rediscovered my passion for graphic design. In this field, I have not only created illustrations but also handled the entire graphic design process for games such as For Sale, Airport Rush, and Duo Regna.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
For the past few years, I have collaborated with Upper Deck's art team to create high-quality illustrations for Marvel collectible cards. I have used my artistic and creative skills, focusing on composition, attention to detail, color theory, and visual storytelling to produce original artwork that meets project objectives. My work has involved close collaboration with art directors and effective communication to ensure a smooth creative process and meet deadlines.
PaperGames is a leading board game publisher in Brazil, known for its exceptional quality. I started working with the company in 2016 as a freelance graphic designer and have since contributed to over 90 games.
As the company continues to release innovative games from famous authors, I have taken on a variety of roles, including creative director, graphic designer, and illustrator, playing a key role in their development from start to finish. This allows me to shape the look and feel of our games, helping PaperGames succeed in the growing world of board games.
